Hi, 

I just sold a laptop, and have not recieved payment, I thought I put instant payment on the listing, I guess I did not. I have investigated the buyer and there are all positive ratings, but 2 stating the buyer never paid or returned emails. I would like to cancel the transaction and set it up for instant payment, would I be right to cancel and relist without issues? Thanks for the help. Just don't want any issues. Thanks!!

If you just cancel without the buyers consent, you get a defect on your account.

As posted you can't just cancel & relist
you will end up with an out of stock defect & you can't say per buyers request if you don't have it in ebay messages they will still catch you & give you a defect

You need to wait now at least 2 days and then if you don't get payment you file an unpaid item case & have to wait 4 days, they pay you ship they don't pay you close the case get back your fees & then your free to relist it and they get an unpaid item strike.

Make sure the person who purchased doesn't contact you to say they need your Paypal email or try any scams on you for the laptop.
I don't see anything in sold so not sure how much $ you are talking but make sure you log in & have payment in Paypal & it is ok to ship.
Don't change delivery address after the payment.
