I think i have made a grave mistake. I ordered something from ebay and a few days later it’s saying dispatched. was supposed to come on the 18th but it has not arrived. Texted the seller on the 19th and still no reply. Then yesterday got an email saying item is no longer available here look at some similar items. i’m confused because the payment had already gone through on the 13th back when i ordered it. i told my friend and he reprimanded me for not using paypal to pay for the item he says it’s more safer. So i’m getting worried now that i might have been scammed. any idea what i should do?
Yes the transaction did go through i physically watched the money leave my account. i payed through it can’t remember i just had an option to put my debit card details down and that’s how i payed for it but my friend called me stupid for not using paypal. I looked at order details and it says dispatched but it has not arrived.
Wow i did not even realise i was on the US site i thought the site i was on was for all countries i assumed. i guess i will ask on the Uk Site since that is where i am based.
Not sure if I understand about the payment though, are you saying you gave the seller your debit card information to pay? Then it was sent? Is there a tracking number?
I used the visa card payment option and i added my card went through with payment and the money was taken out of my account. I will check if there is a tracking number and i have now filled a missing item claim.
situation kinda resolved just waiting for the refund to come through even though it’s telling me i’ve been refunded the money still hasn’t come through
