Buyer is super honest and said item showed up after 2 months of it missing in mail. I refunded the money over a month ago when we thought it was for sure lost. She wants to know how to send me the money. I know I can just send a Paypal invoice but I don't want to put my eBay account at risk since I sold it through ebay. What is the correct way to handle this? Thanks

The correct process is to .... wait for it..... send her a paypal invoice.
All kidding aside, the original transaction was on eBay, and eBay can't see that you sent a Paypal invoice for anything.
Send the invoice and count yourself lucky to have encountered a truly honest buyer.

Send the Paypal invoice or money request. There will be no impact to your Ebay account. This is simply an honest buyer repaying for a lost item that finally arrived.

Just send the invoice. Noone going to track you down.

Then show her this thread and tell her how much we love honest buyers and sellers..they are becoming a rare breed..

Thanks guys! I wish I could leave her feedback saying how honest she is of a buyer and how I wish all of my buyers were like her!
