Item condition is PERFECT but the box is old

Hi all!

So I am selling my old stock that was on my shelf for years, I am having kind of a problem, the items are in Perfect condition, never used, the box never opened.

But the box is slightly crashed and sometimes there are stains that cannot be removed
(see pictures)

Anyway, The condition I put is New-open box and in the description I mention the condition of the box
I would condition it as "New" but in "New" condition you cannot add a description and mention the condition of the box.
I really want to condition it as "New" because box is unopened and the item never used, its only the box that ruining it to me and because of that i prefer put it on New-open box (Even though it never been open)

I was thinking of condition it as "New" but in the Item description mention the box condition...
What do you sellers think? please let me know !

I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!

Thanks again!!!
Mor

@weldtronics

I always list items like that as used, then mention the description that it's still sealed, but the package has some damage.

Have a great day.

These are items that folks are going to up . I would list them as the contents mint but the package is dented.  If the stains can't be removed, write that.  If there are no smells, state that too.    If the package is still sealed, state that.   Now if the package is opened, make sure that the contents are ALL present.  In this example where the package is partially opened, I would write USED as the condition  but in the description  I would write,  " I wrote used because the package is partially opened but the contents are mint and the item is complete.

These are new and you can list them as new. Just mention the packaging is old.

You need to be careful with things like collectible toys and things like that because the box is important but if someone is restoring a 1977 Dodge Dart, the ideal parts to use will be brand new parts that were sitting on a shelf in some old guys garage for the past 40 years.

Since the boxes were never opened I would actually just do "New" and explain about the box in the condition box - it comes up right under "new" so the buyer can see it right away.

Personally, if the packaging is still sealed I would list as new and note in the description that the packaging has storage wear.

I list new items like that as used. Then in the description or condition I will say "New, Open Box" or "New with damaged box".

Sometimes I will even attract a bunch of attention to it in the title if I have the room "Left handed Monkey Wrench, Box is TOTALLY WRECKED".  That actually seems to sell such things faster.

it's called "New - Old Stock" - but listing doesn't offer that as condition of course, either way listing as new or used - still going to have to explain the packaging etc... in the description regardless how you list it as.

I put NOS in the title of the item.  If it an item that time does not deteriorate the item, I use NOS.  If it is something that time likely has the ability to alter the item, I classify it as used and state that the item was never used, but state the approx year of the old stock item.

If there is a model number and/or year of issue on these type of items, be sure to use it.  Buyers will search based on same.

I would condition it as "New" but in "New" condition you cannot add a description and mention the condition of the box.

Not in the text box that will appear immediately below your Title.

But you have a Description which allows you something like 50,000 keystrokes to describe your item and Item Specifics which often (depending on category) has a text box under Modified.

The most useful term I can think of is NEW OLD STOCK.

I realised that I was sloppy in my posting, yes - new open box/new without tag is the only way I can think of to alert to box condition by using the Condition section.  But it would be NEW.
