We are looking for something specific for my daughter for Christmas. We have been actively searching through listings, and I am noticing the oddest thing. When I click on a listing under the buy it now or bid price it shows a brief description after you click on the listing, but then disappears. You click, it is there, and then disappears into thin air. The problem is no where in the listing can I find that descprition to read after it disappears. Is this a glitch? It has happened to many, many listings I have been looking at, and seems to be occuring on listings where pre-filled system information from eBay regarding the product is populated into the listing. Is it my browser which is Chrome by the way? Unfortunately, this makes me view the listing negatively and I won't purchase if I cannot read the buyers description of the item since we are focusing on gently used due to the pricing of this item new.

When having a problem and suspecting the browser, ALWAYS try another first.
The browser you mention has been the root of many problems recently and I strongly advise abandoning it. I rarely have had problems with Mozilla SeaMonkey in all the years I've used it.

SeaMonkey's roots go back to the early days of the web when Netscape was THE browser to beat IE. AOL bought into Netscape which sent many of the developers scurrying to form the Mozilla Foundation. That created the Mozilla Suite which was nearly identical to Netscape in many ways. Firefox came out of that project as a stripped down browser only version while the Suite manitained the full features. I really don't know why they renamed the Suite 'SeaMonkey', but it is what it is. NO tracking of your movements like the one provided by a search engine company far too many people are using.
Now .... all that said, THIS site has caused many problems for people by trying to please the creaters of the browser you initially mentioned. And it has become evident that in their zeal to please the evil G, they have rendered many listings useless. So, as asked above, tell us what you're looking for and maybe we can try to see how widespread the problem is.

I can also view it with no problems. I'm using Firefox Quantum which is the latest update to Firefox.

I have a problem with all browsers on ebay, except Chrome, it's always worked fine for me.
