It won't let me sell anything, just keeps saving to drafts.

I have already linked my PayPal account, filled out all the personal information/addresses and all. I go to list it and it just takes me straight back to one of the Ebay screens and I just see my draft. I have tried posting it 20 times and I'm not getting any error messages or anything, but it won't let me post it. 

Am I missing something? Please help.

Try going into your drafts folder, click on the listing, clean up/add to it as needed, then at the bottom of the screen click "List."   What happens then?

I added and did everything I was supposed to ad on the listing itself. I've sold on eBay a lot before so I do know how to do the ads. I have 3 different drafts right now for items I'm trying to sell.  I'm not getting any errors when I try.

@1manstrashisanotherstreasure This may sound like a ridiculous question, but at the bottom of the listing form are you clicking "list item" or are you clicking "save and continue later"?

Okay, try this...

1) Copy the description part of your draft listing and park it somewhere (Notepad, Word, etc.)

2) Go in and search for another active listing on eBay that's similar to yours

3) Click on "Have One Like This - Sell Now?"  or whatever it says

4) Revise/correct this listing so that it includes salient details/photos/terms for your item including the description details you copied/parked above

5) When you're done, click "List Item" and see what happens then

I had to ask. Sometimes it's the most simple of answers like "unplug the lamp, then plug it back in". 😉

Okay, so you click list then instead of setting the listing live it takes you to your drafts page.

Here's another "obvious" question to rule out before we go any further: is it possible you used the scheduling feature? Do you see any listings here:

I don't think I did a scheduled date, but before I try what the other person suggested I will check for that.

If you did not use the scheduler, then please clarify:

- When you create a new listing then select "list now" it is taking you to your drafts folder where the listing is saved as a draft instead of posting live?

- When you go to the draft listing and click the revise button then click "list now", is the same thing happening?

- Are you using computer or a mobile device? If mobile are you using the website or the app?

- Have you tried a different browser to see if the same issue occurs?

Edit to add: I would try to solve this before going to another seller's listing and selecting "sell one like this" because it pulls all sorts of settings from their listing over to yours. It's easy to make a mistake and miss something. But it is something you can try if we can't figure this out another way.

I already tried listing a similar and it did the same thing. The initial posts I did were on my phone with the eBay app. I was trying to do it for about an hour at work on my computer using Mozarilla and Google chrome.

Just a thought ... Have you checked your selling limits?

If you are just getting set up, eBay may have set you at 0/$0

Were you trying to "fix" the listings you first created on your phone with the eBay app later on your computer?

Or, when you tried posting a listing from your computer did you start from scratch?

I went from mobile to fix on computer, but I also started one from scratch on the computer. 

Could it be cause I just confirmed my bank account? Do I have to wait a day or 2?
