So a few years ago, eBay decided to stop me from selling because, for no reason, my bank account I ALWAYS used to get payments or pay for items from was no longer "verified". Oh, they can TAKE my money out to buy things, but won't let me have buyer's money go into it.
Now I just got an email saying my account's "restricted" (whatever that means, they had already stopped me from selling), so I followed their link.
NOPE, they STILL say my bank is no good. WHY. It's only issued from the LARGEST RETAILER IN THE USA.
I mean come on, just give me my money already.

Bank of America is both accepted and unaccepted.
Citibank is both free and yet actually costs money. You're see the complexity in this, yes?
TD Bank offers a checking account that is free if you maintain a $100 minimum balance.

And of course bank will require personal information to open an account, because the law requires it.
The only complexity I see is your unwillingness to do what is required.

A Capital One 360 checking account can be opened online, has no minimum balance requirement, and there are no fees. Unlike every Citibank or Chase account.

And the Capital One 360 Performance Savings account, that is also free of fees, easily opened online, and automatically linked to the checking account, currently pays 3% interest.

"Unwillingness", as in $100.
Right. X D

Sounds promising. I'll have to look into that one.

Contact your State attorney general office or your state BBB.
That seems to light a fire under them.
Good luck:-)
