Do you issue a refund before you've received the item back? Or wait until you have it? I've sold a bit on here since 2012, and never had to refund $$ until now. I state "no refunds" but I don't want the buyer to be unhappy either. It could be legit or not, but I know fighting it will basically get me nowhere. Thanks for your input.

I always wait to receive the item back as this gives me the opportunity to inspect the returned item and if there are any discrepancies then to take eBay's advice and act accordingly.
I always make sure that refund is processed on the same day that I receive the item back as this may help to reduce any anxiety or fears that buyer may have.

Wait until you get the item back before refunding.
If you refund before, you might not get your item back.
