The following is just a current example of something that happens all the time and I always wonder about it. Okay so yesterday I had 5 watchers on an item and decided to send them an offer. Now that item has 11 watchers, and the 5 who received the offer yesterday have 1 day and 6 hours remaining.
In my experience, if I'm going to get anyone to 'bite' it will happen within the first few hours after they receive the offer, often within the first few minutes, but occasionally it'll be the next day, so it's fine with me that ebay gives them 48 hours to decide, and I get why the listing becomes un-editable during that time. However, what I don't understand is why there appears to be no way to piggyback any subsequent (new) watchers into the current offer.
Is there any kind of workaround for that, other than end-sell-similar with the lower price? That's what I've done in the past when desperate for funds (like I am today) but then I lose all the watchers I had, and I'm not sure if that loss outweighs the benefit of a listing being 'shiny and new' in search results.

When you send the initial offer, there is an option to automatically send the same offer to all new watchers. Just set and forget.

Ebay decides when and to whom I can send offers. If the Send Offers option pops up I send offers. A red box sometimes pops up indicating Offers not available but that is eBay's glitch. Why have me bother trying to send offer if option is not available? Just another eBay time waster when it happens.

But how?
Okay the item I used as an example literally SOLD right after I made this post, lol! So I can't use it to show what I mean, but here's another one.
This item has 4 current watchers (I sent an offer to the 1 watcher it had yesterday, now there are 3 more).
The only option in the Actions pulldown menu for that item (regarding offers) is 'Review all offers'.
That shows that the 1 watcher from yesterday has a day and 2 hours left, and there's nothing I can click to onboard the newer 3 watchers.
Likewise, this item does not show up on the page when I filter my listings to 'Send offer eligible.'

😮Really? That would certainly make sense. I don't recall ever seeing it before but it's possible my eyes stopped seeing anything on the page except the parts I'm used to filling out (and in a hurry, usually). I can't check it right now because I have no items currently eligible to 'send offer', but I will absolutely keep this in mind and look for it. Thank you in advance, and yes I will follow-up here, if I can or can't find that feature.

Sort of like allll the transactions ebay says I need to leave feedback for, but can't because of the red box saying those people are no longer able to receive feedback. 🙄
