Is there an official Nike store here?

News is that there may soon be one 'over there' (you know where).  But is there one here?  Would it be good or bad?  Isn't that part of what's hurting small and medium sellers here ..  the big brands?  As a seller, would you think big brand stores would help attract buyers to the site in general, or deflect them from your items?

If big brands had official stores here, would they be more or less aggressive in trying to prevent their items from being sold by others?

Big brands can list larger variety and quantities and can offer more competitive pricing if they so choose. They also have a very different kind of exposure here. On top of that buyers may flock to them because it eases their mind about authenticity no matter how reputable the little seller is.

Overall I don't think their presence helps smaller sellers who are selling the same brands.

Vera Bradley has a store here and has for at least a year and yet there are still small sellers selling their items.  Has it hurt the small sellers - maybe because they have to be more realistic with their prices. But as a buyer it's a plus for me.
