Is there an ai bot that can read and respond to basic ebay messages

Wondering if theres a bot that can be connected to ebay and can be taught to respond to basic customer’s requests?

There pretty much is - anyone opening claims / disputes  through the Money Back Guarantee are using AI.  And because it is AI, users must be careful as to what they submit for information because the AI is unforgiving if the user chooses their wording poorly.

I'm sure that other parts of the platform are already governed by AI - or soon will be.

Thats not what i meant, i meant if theres an ai assistant for the seller that can be taught to read messages and respond with basic needs, like does it fit my car, is it new or used, i received wrong item,

If you're getting that many questions that you need a bot to respond to them, you may want to go over your listings.  I have 300+ items listed and I don't even get 1 question a month.

Questions like "Does it fit my car?" would be best answered by the seller, wouldn't they?

And, if you received the wrong item, wouldn't you simply follow the MBG and open an item not as described case?

Looking at the OPs listings, think they are asking as the seller not buyer. eBay isn't selling the products in the listings, so should not expect eBay to answer questions about the products being sold by individual sellers. You already have the parts compatibility shown in the listings, that should answer the question about fitment.

Even shopping at a B&M auto parts store, you can still end up with the wrong part and need to return it even if their catalog shows it should fit. 

You might want to remove this part: "As per eBay Regulations we only accept PayPal at this time."

Buyers can use any of the methods listed to pay, of which there are several.

@spdpartswa  Pretty sure ebay indicated at ebay Open that they are working on something like that. 

In the meantime, if you haven't already, you can create custom Q&As which ebay will show your buyer, and/or you can keep standard answers in a handy file to copy and paste....I use Chrome Notes Extension in my Chrome browser, but there are lots of other options.
