I'm trying to add items to a sale in Promotions/aka: NEW markdown manager. I can't seem to figure out how to add. I looked around the board to see if any threads on the topic, and this is what came up, which wasn't very helpful or encouraging:
Anyone know of a way? I can't have a million sales running.
The old markdown manager worked great
SIGH. Frustrated

Yeah... me too! It seems like common sense, but nope! I need to add my new product to a sale daily, but can't. It says there is just no way you can do it. Who the h** wrote this? Why don't they get people with common sense who can write user friendly software? It's not that hard!

Unfortunately, eBay and the Post Office are two of the main entities that come to mind that are notorious for 'fixing' things that were never broken to begin with.
Message to eBay and the PO: If something isn't broken, it doesn't need any 'repairs'.

I have found that if I am using "Rules" (not an upload), any new items listed that fall under the rules will be automatically added to the sale within 12-24 hours.

Really? I guess that's a good work around. I haven't tried it yet but I hope it works. As for adding listings (by not creating rules) I remember reading somewhere in eBay's help section that you can't add new items, you'll have to create a new sale. And if you raise the price of a listing, it will remove it from the sale (it did that for markdown manager too). But oddly it doesn't say it will remove it if you lower the price. Btw, I hate the new "markdown manager/promotion" too

I'm looking to add OLD listings, not newly listed items. Plus the listing wasn't set up with rules. I manually added listings. But now there's no way to add to it.
