I've recently been having a fairly large amount of offers that fail to pay. Is there any list somewhere of buyers that do this? The blocking buyer function hasnt really prevented this, nor has requiring a payment method to be provided prior to making an offer. There really needs to basically be escrow with pre authorization for all offers that just automatically goes through it seems because this is fairly disruptive. Its regularly tying up a fairly significant % of inventory on a dollar value basis relative to orders which is problematic.
Are there any solutions to this that are readily available already?

The best is blocking buyers with two or more unpaid strikes, and to always cancel for non-payment, so those buyers get the strikes to help other sellers block them. On Fixed Price items, the best thing to do it enable the Immediate Payment Required option. Other than that, nothing else available that you haven't already done.

There is no "list".
Are you routinely cancelling buyers who have not paid by day #4?
Do you have your requirements set so that buyers with 2 nonpaying strikes in 12 months cannot bid or buy from you?
Have you considered FP with IPR?

You can add buyers to a blocked list specifically. I am routinely having buyers that havent paid for their offer by day 4. I have requirements set. I have fixed price with immediate payment required. I just also have offers turned on which is what is causing the problem.

Also, remember, you can't send/accept offers either, because those may not be immediate payment required situations.

There are millions of potential buyers. The odds of you blocking one that wants your stuff are like winning the lottery. Also, someone else's list may have many buyers you would not mind selling to. Don't stress over such trivial stuff. Just set your buyer requirements to block people with 2 unpaid strikes and forget about it.
