I've been selling full time since the spring. I sell various types of items from various suppliers featuring rock bands, cartoons, etc. I have no way of knowing if the items are authentic or not. I have over 700 listings, and I've received three VeRO violations since June. I get the same form email from eBay each time. It basically says, "we took the listing down for you and there won't be any further action." I have not tried to relist any of the items and I won't. I'm trying to find out if this will be a bigger issue with more violations, or if they're content if I just don't relist. I looked around quite a bit and haven't found much other than the info on eBay. I'm wondering if they deal more harshly with people who relist items that have been flagged.

You'd better know if you're selling them.

You are not allowed to sell anything that is not authentic.
Black and white.. It is your job to know before you list.

You have sold over 250 items in the last 90 days and you have multiples of some items. Where did you get the items from and does that place not know if they are authentic or not? I would ask them if they are authorized retailer who is allowed to sell the items to you.
Did you look for the policy? Was it not included in your notification?

No. Vero does not discriminate

The line everyone has quoted is the one that screamed at me to stop reading.
You have no business selling items you can't say are real or not. That's exactly what VERO is for. The system in this case is working.

Who are these "various suppliers" and where do they get their stock? The others are right - it's on you to verify authenticity of your items - you can't shift the responsibility onto your suppliers. They need to be vetted so you ensure that you're not selling counterfeits.
