Is "Prefill information" neccessary when listing the item?

Hi, 

Is "Prefill information" really neccessary or important to sell the items on ebay? 

Sometimes I can't even find any similar products, so I list the items without Prefill information but I don't think that stops people from finding my item. What do you think? Do you use it?
