Is it possible?

We are getting ready to list a bunch of baseball cards.  We know how to create a listings with different items which works for selling cards.  Is it possible to create a listing with a minimum purchase?  In example the buyer would have to purchase at least 5 cards.  We don't want to sell cards for $1 each and then pay fees/shipping/etc.

Not sure if we have seen anyone else do this before  Thanks

I don't believe so.  However, it appears you have a store, so you could price them at $5 each, and offer a quantity discount.  You could do either Buy 1 get 4 free or buy 5+ save 80%.

The price might scare off some buyers if they don't pay attention to the discount.  Or they might think that to qualify for the discount, they have to buy 4 of the same item.  (They don't, they can buy from any of the listings you put into that promotion.)

I do similar discounts (although not as drastic).  I have many items priced at $3.99, and they are part of a Buy 4+ save 50% promotion.  I've sold hundreds of them and sell a lot more than expected at full price (because the buyer apparently only wanted a single item).

What's with the $63 shipping for your dinosaur toy ? Ship gouging is the biggest turn off for buyers.

I agree with the quantity discounts.  I've sold a lot of smalls that way.

On top of doing the suggested discounts that others have posted, you could list the cards in lots. I have been successful with lots of 6 pieces when I list my sports card collection.
