Is it ok to sell same item from multiple platforms or against eBay rules?

I'm wandering if it's against the rules eBay has so many i thought it would be easier to ask here.

You can cross post on other platforms - just make sure if an item sells elsewhere that you immediately take down your listing here. Should your item sell both places - I'd ship to the Ebay seller as other platforms do not have rigid penalties for cancelling a sale. The only thing against the rules here is listing the same product on different IDs hoping to get a sale - that's a no no.

thanks one less worry, trying to get something going, some of my Florida items might sell better local, been very difficult to get anything going here, when people are worried with everything under the sun they don't buy art nearly as much as when they aren't worried.

Good luck to you - even the common items are a hard sell these days. People are afraid to spend money and I hate to say - I'm included in that bunch.

used to love to play cow pasture pool here on eBay (buy an item low and sell high) been a while and i know i'm not alone this has been a big factor in sales, when i see the very best art dealers in the world that used to be buyers of large orders that sell right here on eBay panic selling, these platforms are like mini economy's how they are set up and how people feel about them is a big factor in sales the items and price of items is probably only 30% of the sales equation especially with art antiques and collectibles.
It is so thick with worry on this platform you can cut it with a knife.
