Is it ok to list and sell a modded Nintendo 3DS XL?

I have one that is modded and have like many games installed on it for free. Some buyers may be interested in them, but not sure how would ebay react, since it have pirated games in it because of the mod

Is it ok to sell it as is? or do I have to factory reset it?

You could probably get away with it but it’s risky and technically illegal. What I would do is sell it as a normal 3ds, and put in title “Read description”. Then I’m description put “message me before buying” and when they do tell them it’s modded then

Of course eBay would be against as it’s against the LAW.

You’re asking if it’s OK to sell stolen property here (the games).

Old thread from January of last year.  The OP has nothing for sale and presently hasn't sold anything in some time. My guess is eBay may have given them the boot.  They're also in Saudi Arabia and may not be against the law where they are located.
