Is it Sold via Promoted if Followers Receive Emails?

So my question is if my regular followers see my newly listed items in their "New from your saved sellers" email, is this considered promoted? I have quite a few regular buyers/followers who come back and purchase regularly. Yet most of those sales show sold via promoted. So these aren't buyers who just come back and check my new listings? Almost always promoted?

I have no organic sales with 208 followers.

I do not know the actual answer.

I have always assumed that listings displayed in an eBay generated promotional message is  "sponsored".
