New day new ebay Glitch. Yes I complain because I pay good money , usually over $1000 every month for this site to work. Since the update I can't invoice items bought pre update and have called ebay twice on the matter , yet it's not fixed now over 2 weeks.
Customers ask questions about items they are going to bid on or are bidding on and I can't answer them, yet I can once they actually have purchased the item.
Ebay said they knew of that problem when I reported it and still has not fixed it over a month later. After all why would a customer want to ask a question about an item they are interested in buying?
This morning a customer said he thought he won 2 items and told me what they were but he has no record of them. I do a bunch of searching and they come up under unsold, though clearly marked green and won by him. Found a few others that ended up there as well from last night. So now I'm going to be shorting customers, unknowingly because who would think to look in their unsold folder for items that actually sold.
I just sent the customer the item numbers but he can't even find them.
Crazy, yet I'm suppose to provide a customer with a positive experience with all these obstacles thrown in my way. Can we hire some competent people to run this platform?

This has been an ongoing issue for at least eight of the ten years I have sold here. On occasion I will have sold a one off item with no duplicates and sure enough months later someone is able to buy it again even though it does not exist in my inventory. It can feel as if you are playing the memory match game when suddenly your head turns a little askew like a confused puppy while your mind starts to bend. The thought "I know I sold one of these a while ago" pops into my head and the frantic search begins until I realize what happened. My dog ate it yet I am not owned by a dog. It walked away with one of my kids? Nope, never had any kids!
Oh, the ebay software failed again to keep track of our sold inventory properly which is something we pay for every month. Ebay allows items to relist when they are already sold.

You could pay them a million dollars, it's not going to make the site work better.
