It can take me 2-3 minutes to open a message and respond to it. It loads so slow. It drives me crazy. My internet is 100Mbp/s and I have no problem with any other site except for ebay messages.

Which browser are you using?

I've never had this problem you are describing. I use Firefox with AdBlock+.

My messages has been slow for about 3 months now, and sometimes I just give up and use Contact Seller. I've gotten so many error messages and glitches in the last month that I don't even want to come here anymore.

This is also the ONLY site I have problems with except Yahoo...but there are known problems there.

Well I know I may be stating the obvious but it's worth asking a few questions at least.

Have you tried clearing out your cache (cookies, temp internet files etc)? And have you tried another browser to see if you experience the same slow down?

i have the same problem -- it's so frustrating!!! sometimes, i just give up and don't bother buying since i cannot ask a question. 😞 i usually have a ton of things open on my computer, so my computer memory is a bit challenged and i didn't know if that might have something to do with it. i also suspect that ebay's obsession with catching off-site sales may be slowing it down for those of us with slower systems.

and yet...like others, i have no prob with other email systems or other pages on ebay. so, it's specific to the messaging system.

I almost missed a sale the other day because the message didn't come through to me from eBay. Now I'm going to check my messages in eBay every day.
