Inventory management software?

I ordered a large quantity of various items (including multiples of the same item and variations of color/size) that has a manifest including upc’s. I’m looking for a software to help me manage the process of accounting for receiving each item against the orders manifest. It would be helpful for the software to help me manage the location of the item in the warehouse and possibly listing as well. Anyone with experience using a software that might do this please share your thoughts.

I used to sell inventory management and asset management software, a long time ago.  You should find a local dealer or distributor of bar code scanners.  You could invest in a portable data collection terminal that needs to be docked at your pc to be downloaded, or depending on the size of your warehouse, you might want to invest in a couple RF terminals with scanners on them for "real time" management.  If you haven't already, look into getting a good direct thermal or thermal transfer label printer where you can use it for 4 x 6 shipping labels, as well as smaller labels for your inventory shelves.  A good local, Auto ID dealer should be able to help you with all of your ID needs.
