So I have worked on eBay for the last 15 years and I made upwards of 300k a years. I really liked selling on eBay and invested money into eBay. I look at it as my full time job. I trained under may of other sellers and I’m very well rounded in the way things work. I have seen some things I didn’t understand fully such as how someone can target you and leave feeds back that well destroy all you have worked for. . I would say that if someone left my store and told my land lord that they don’t like doing business with me and he decided to shut my business down that is a scary situation. Normal the business will kill itself that is how it works in all normal situations. With ebay you can invest millions in inventory and have a full staff working these people depend on there jobs just like eBay agents do. See eBay rents space like a land lord. I’m not aware of them having inventory. I have seen where people keep investing and have rent and bills like every company. You can wake up and see that you have been kicked out because of some reason and they don’t even wanna tell you why. I can see this as being a major downfall of eBay and to investors. You have operations experience and a full staff on one day then you have to fire everyone and go in debt with a lease and an investment you now are stuck paying for. There are people that make fake account and they continue but if you just wanna do things the right way you get shunned. eBay needs a team of well educated business leaders that understand and can work with entrepreneurs that are willing to invest there time and inventory to make eBay a top site. I I recently went through legal battle with false charges. After 9 months I was let go charges dismissed. I came home to find my warehouse was broke into and over 600k in inventory was stolen. When I went to eBay account to try and move forward it said MC1011 so as I reviewed it it asked for receipt. Well my building was ransacked and I didn’t have paperwork for those items and didn’t know if I even had those items. I basically got new stuff to sell. I told them I had police reports about my building getting broken into. I guess they didn’t like the fact that I told the truth about this and put me as a risk indefinite suspension. I have spent 15 years with them and I need some help getting back on my feet . I have sold multi millions on eBay and paid hefty fines over the years. It would be nice if they recognize and reconsider looking at evidence before drawing conclusions. Thanks for your time

Im sorry for venting. Sometime you need answers to address the issue. The agents at eBay told me step by step what to do. And then just lead me on for weeks it will be reinstated in 3 days I heard that over and over.
Poor leadership poor communication. They agent told me off and hung up in my face. All I was trying to get is clarity on and issue not told that they were going to put red writing on my paperwork so there is nothing I can do to get my account back. Why hurt my account I call for help not to be injured.

I didn't see a question in there anywhere.
Are you just venting?
That's fine. You're allowed to vent here.

Sorry for all your troubles. Certainly, with that volume you had insurance including business disruption. One would guess you most likely have an attorney. We would think your attorney and insurance company could help you through this difficult time. Best wishes to a brighter day.

Can you clarify a little bit?
What did your sellers dashboard say about your seller status when you returned?
Did your account have active listings during the 9 months you were gone?
If so, did you have any unresolved disputes or sold items you did not ship?
If not, what items was eBay asking for receipts for?

Odds are this is forever with the account.
" I I recently went through legal battle with false charges. After 9 months I was let go charges dismissed."
Who was handling your eBay account for this time???
If it was just you of course any orders were never shipped and eBay had to refund for you. Ebay don't like that at all.....ends up a forever suspension.

You were unable to visit your warehouse for nine months.
The warehouse was broken into and your goods were stolen.
You have a police report.
You do not have a complete inventory of the goods .
So far, this is a criminal matter for the police and your insurance company.
It's not clear how you are at risk for an indefinite suspension from selling on eBay.
Were you listing things that had been stolen and then cancelling the sales as Out of Stock?
That leads to Defects and Defects can mean restrictions on the number and value of listings, higher fees, and as you indicate, temporary or indefinite suspension of seller account.
and paid hefty fines over the years.
Do you mean fees?
ey agent told me off and hung up in my face.
You were not speaking with an eBay employee.
The phone reps work for a subcontractor in Utah.
You need the trained eBay employees who cover the social media accounts.

You were talking to a phone rep? Are you aware they do not work for eBay but for a subcontractor?
You may do better by discussing your situation with an eBay employee with training and some authority.

While anger is understandable in difficult situations, many call centres do allow their workers to hang up on belligerant callers.

As you know it is hard to visualize what all is going on with your account because of the complex issues you ran into and because you aren't posting with the affected account here.
There may be important info you have left out that might help us to better understand and possibly help us to help you. You certainly are in quite a pickle.
I would suggest that you stop using the customer service option of asking Ebay to call you back. That is the least likely option to get you to a trained Ebay employee. And NEVER Google a phone number for Ebay as that will often return scamming phone numbers. Ebay hasn't had their normal Call Center since early 2020 and they have not yet reinstated the Call Center which is why we can't just call into the Call Center right now as it doesn't exists.
I would suggest you go to Facebook for Business on Ebay and tell them what is happening. You might just copy and paste what you wrote here, well with one slight adjustment. Insert paragraphs. A wall of text can be very difficult to read and easy to get lost in it and miss important information.
Here are your options for contacting Ebay Customer Service.

Well I just got off the phone with Ebay and requested a CALL BACK.
Now since January 26 I have struggled I have paid employees , bills, etc. and it has put me in debt. Now when i got home in Jan i notice that i had a negative balance on my PayPal account. I sent that money in it was $800 and something. Now the whole reason it has cost me all this time is because I didn't respond to the Mc999 saying it was paid in full. Really !!! Seems like they would know i paid it in FULL. When I did it. It took me this long without making any income because i had to say the PayPal was paid in full back in February. HAVE THEM CALL YOU BACK IS RIGHT. This has been a very costly experience and I hope it helps someone down the road.

Keep in mind that while that is a method of talking to a CSR for Ebay, it isn't the best option nor are they the best trained. Those you will find on the Facebook and Twitter link I gave you above. So the call back may just end up in more frustration on your part not to mention the time the call will likely take.
Sellers on Ebay no longer can use PayPal. All sellers now use Managed Payments.

I am sorry, but I can see how you predicament can make eBay wary of you selling on their site. Mistake one was not deleting all your items when you were jailed. You should either have your password stored on your browser, written down somewhere or in a file on your computer. If you told eBay you were in jail, and if eBay knows it has something to do with products you sell on eBay, then you are likely never going to be allowed back on eBay. eBay sees you as a risk to their platform.
It is unfortunate the mess you are in. When you deal with eBay, try not to be angry and try instead to work calmly with them explaining your dilemma. Sometimes a bit of persistence pays off.

My name is josh I had an account, sold only around $2k in parts for mitsubishi 3000gt vr4's. Well my account was indefinitely suspended the day following buying a part. With my friemds wifes card on my account. Nothing i can do, THAT IS THE FACT and, even though i know the card was the only thing i did that is different, over the course of a few months they gave me a run around, they told me 3 different possibilities and even said that i bidded on an item with another in the same household increasing the sale price of an item which was clesrly a lie i only just started my account and i work hard i dont have the competitive nature nor do i care for all that. I just pay, post. And see if it sells and work on other cars i can fix or part. I have a feeling ebay has woman at the top making decisions or some lgtbq **bleep** going on up there becuase non of this makes sense.
I personally don't see how comoanies use ebay concidering the benefits of Amazon.
Idk.
But 14 years later, i still cant believe ebay did this to an early beginner trying to help a friend buy a birthday gift for kid that happend to be my best friend at the time. Its nuts. Ebay has issues that are flawed and they make too much money to care about there subjects business because theres is doing so well. Tome for people to wake up and find better pastures before they are forced to. Maybe ebay will reconsider those they deemed unworthy and by then ut will be too late but. People suport ebay becuase it's easy to scam and you have **bleep** near predictable sells power is in the sellers hands so much that a paclage can ship and if there is an issue its not caught and the buyer cannot do anything unless the seller reaches out or finds the error. Weather it be address error or other.
The fact is, ebay is addictive, I think i eve. Se this early on, how can I maje the part better, being used, I would sand blast the parts and coat them, presentation is everything, but even then, it didn't last. I was hoping to 1day create my own brand,
But that idea was cut short the day I help my best friends mother buy a birthday gift for her son for his birthday. I didn't know her card was attached to his account and the kicker here is neither of us did anything wrong, his account was limited only because it was older. 🤔 now that i think about it, We did use the same computer at times, It didn't cross my mind till this moment perhaps the father used my account if I stayed logged in, nah i used my phone allot for ebay. All I can say, is 100% josh only added my best friends mothers card and I placed an order and the next day my sellers account was shut down, so I am certain they just don't care. Perhaps they get a huge incentive to cancel or find violators.
Regardless. And im not sure I violated anything even in this so beats me, find better pastures before your forced is all I can say and hope to God its not when you biuld an empire off ebay with a the inherent liability that it really is. Id like to think Amazon is the best of both worlds. But sellers need to crack down on product pirates who steel and return products leaving soap water in scent bottles.
People need to be held accountable, we have the tech to do better holding sellers and buyers accountable, but it's never ballanced.
How about a business moto - buyers and sellers pay a small fee, for a service, and this service puts aside a small amount for insurance between the parties and saves the profit for improvements later reinvesting, we see with ebay, is no reinvestment and sacrifices that go against there own laws they set. Namely the money back garrantee. That in itself is a scam nearly, because you have to fall in a narrow window and category, and ill be damned if they don't close a claim because you don't recieve a package that accidentally went to an old job address even though you tried to cancel or message the seller and day of order, ebay is flawed and they just don't care about you or the buyer only the money they get out if it, and your loyalty never mattered. Seek better pastures while you have a choice
