Immediate Payment Required keeps dropping off listings

I check the Immediate Payment Required with But it Now when I list but it doesn’t seem to stay checked.

When I select one of your items to "buy it now", it wants immediate payment to complete the transaction?

I have been using this setting for tools this year and have not had this happen.   However, I learned that I had to uncheck it on a dozen tool listings so a customer could add them all to his cart in order to get my free shipping deal.
