If You Do Not See A Rubber Ducky and There is No Mention of A Rubber Ducky ...Guess What?
..............................THERE IS NO "DARN" RUBBER DUCKY INCLUDED!!! Good lord!
I know some of you (cheerleaders) will come along and say: You should write out: No Rubber Ducky is included, but why and where does it end?
Please share some of the questions you have received from buyers when your pictures and/or written words have omitted/did not included things AND buyers still messaged you asking: Is there a: Rubber Ducky included!

To me it all has to do with context.
If a listing is for a plasma TV and the picture shows a plasma TV and the buyer messaged asking "is there a rubber ducky?" I would say it ends with you politely answering "no" and blocking him because he is crazy.
But if a listing is for a Sesame Street Ernie & Bert Bubble Bath Set that originally came with a rubber ducky and the pictures does not show a rubber ducky and the buyer messaged asking "is there a rubber ducky?" I would say it ends with you politely answering "no, but I guess I should have written that out in my listing" because that is a perfectly reasonable question.

Not quite certain what you are getting at here, so guessing this is about all those strange questions from out of the blue that buyers can sometimes come up with concerning one of your listings.
And don't know whether the "rubber ducky" term used here was actually a question you received, or whether you're just using it as a funny example... can only say that in order to minimize your time that is wasted answering buyer questions that should already have the info in the listings, just... have the info in the listings. And when their questions are COMPLETELY from left field and are weird rubber ducky questions, just be patient and answer politely, fully, gently, and completely... trying not to let the buyer know you are just gritting your teeth and rolling your eyes as you give your answer. Sometimes those actually result in SALES!
(...but the buyer could just be messin' with you...)

I would answer that they must have me confused with another seller.
Aaaaaaaannnd block them.
By the way in answer of where does it end, it ends with me listing most of my interesting items on another site, where the buyers spend a minute or two reading the description AND have passed the reading comprehension tests gven out in the first grade.

I haven't gotten any questions like that, but...
If it's NOT in the picture, and if it's NOT mentioned in the description, it is NOT included. That's just plain common sense. Makes no never mind if the rubber ducky was originally included in the set when it was new in 1978 or whatever...if it's not in the pic and not in the description, it ain't there.
WYSIWYG, y'all

Lucky has it right. Since we cannot see the listing associated with the rubber ducky read his post #2.

Do we get a prize if we guess right?
Great! 45.8% down over the same time last year with 2x+ items listed. Are you impressed? I'm certainly not!

If in the listing: there is No picture of and No mentioning of said item equals: Logical conclusion: Not included!

Common Sense = Oxymoron (named for an air breathing, ah, .... )
No such thing.
If there were such a thing as 'common sense', none of us would have to be here on the forums.
The foolishness of one's actions or words is determined by the number of witnesses.

And the exam tests, when all (12) pictures are void of the very item they ask if it is included.

Common sense has to come into pay here.
if it's such a thing that needs the item to function, such as a power supply, or power cord and it is NOT picture nor included, you darn well better say it in your listing and more than once. Pictured or not. To omit it is just asking for trouble.
I have never had a buyer ask if something was included that wasn't pictured as I am pretty clear about it.
write your listings as if there are no pictures and take pictures as if there is not a description.
The Rats won.
