Hello,
I 'd like to insert some items for selling and eBay platform requires from me a document of my own which confirms my name and date of birth. I have uploaded my driver's license successfully and eBay requests again to verify my personal details. Why ?

It is not unusual for eBay to request such documentation. Given you are overseas, eBay wants to be certain of your legitimacy. It is part of its security measures, and is not a reflection on you or anything you have done, or didn't do. It may seem redundant, but as this is eBay’s sand box, it is best to cooperate and provide the requested info if you wish to sell here. Good luck.

I ran into a lot of problems getting registered on eBay Canada.
Among others, does your name with eBay match your ID?
If your license says John Jacob Jingleheimer Smith and your eBay registration is JJ Jingleheimer Smith, the bots get suspicious.
I used my passport. DH used his license. And the names on the bank accounts also matched the IDs.
Paypal accounts are notorious for being easy to obtain and (relatively) easy to hijack. Still safer than using a credit card directly, but eBay seems to have learned a lot from the first generation PP registration woes.
You also need a chequing account in a bank in your own country, but if the Canadian experience means anything, you can hold that account in your own currency or in US dollars.
