I finally got a sale set up with the item numbers (yay) but it doesn't show up on my listings. I even looked at it on a different ID. It seems to be active, I marked start immediately, but the discount isn't showing. Any ideas?? Anyone!?!
This is my second post today about setting up a sale, I know I can get this!
TIA

Maybe I am not understanding but you already have 91 listings up so you obviously know how to do it.
What is the problem with this particular listing?

It can commonly take several hours for a sale to show up, like others said. That being said, click on the 'edit' button within the sale, and double check everything. I had a hard time trying to use Markdown Manager the first few times, and I've set sales for the wrong date/month, or noticed I didn't actually have any listings selected, even though I thought I did.
On the bottom (unless they have the new Markdown Manager up & running now) there is an area where you can 'select individual listings', when you select that, it will pull up a screen with all of your listings and you can simply check the box of each listing you want included in the sale.

@cambriachick If you are trying to say you set up a sale through markdown manager you have to be very careful of the start and end times of sale. Can you give us an item # of one of the items you thought you had marked down and we can tell you if it is showing up as being marked down?

I'm trying to use the new promotions manager to set up my sale event. One of my item # 272834465922. I do not see an edit button on this, just the pause and resume
Thanks to all trying to help. I did set it up around 15 hours ago, so it should be up and running by now. I checked the times and I had it start immediately and run for 12 days.

Very interesting! I just looked up the 'promotions manager' in which you are referring to. In order to use that, you must FIRST use Markdown Manager and create a sale, THEN you select a group of items to add into that promotion. Going to try it myself 🙂
So, if you haven't created a sale in Markdown Manager, the system won't pull any items to add when you create a 'promotion'. Make sense?

Ok Swenson, I went back to the old markdown manager and put a sale in that way. I thought that was supposed to be disabled this month. It should start at 6:30 this morning so I'll see. I only ran it until tomorrow night, in case it doesn't work, so I haven't made a mess of things
I added a few more items than my first try, so I'll watch to see if everything shows up.
I did not go back to promotions manager because that says my sale is already active.
Thanks

Hmmm... I tried setting up a sale with markdown manager. (I already have one running that I set up earlier in the month.) This new sale didn't ever show on my listings. So I tried again. Same thing. I had previously tried using promotions manager, but just got error messages when trying to access it. If you have to use BOTH to set up a sale, I have to say this is one of the stupidest changes ebay has made in a while. And that's saying a lot! Not sure it's worth the trouble to even try again, with the amount of traffic ebay seems to pull in these days.
