who works at the Post Office. These prices are getting beyond ridiculous. They've got to be making stacks yet they always say they're broke. I don't want to hear them saying those lies ever again.

Look, I understand that the losses are largely driven by their pension obligations, but some of the losses are self-inflicted.  Like the priority padded envelopes - those are flat rate so why on Earth aren't those prepaid?  I bet that at $7+ a pop people would stop using them as free bubble wrap.

IMHO I understand that like the priority envelopes may be part of the problem, but they are "peanuts" compared to all the other costs that the PO has.  They wouldn't offer things for free if they lose money with it, or would they! LOL!  Maybe the fact that there is an actual business man in the General seat, some, not all of the problems will be solved. 

To add to the popcorn bowl.  They are ordering new Carrier Trucks.  The old ones are so old, no air conditioning or heat.  They were purchased in 1987 and the last ones were purchased in 1994.  There are 140,000 in use today.  According to info I searched for.

See, you say that the post office is broke, but in the next line: the amount of packages and mail going through is unsurmountable. It's either one way or the other. There are people getting rich here, and off our backs and the backs of the lower workers.

I was obviously just joking, with someone who came out swinging to support the USPS. Maybe his daughter owns it? Who knows? No, I got way more than that. I got one of the biggest collection of My Buddy dolls in the entire world. You wanna play? 😁 

I'm not angry or anything - pretty much just stunned at some of the prices lately. But I can get by. I do this as a hobby and don't have to do it. Most people aren't so lucky. Those are the ones who should be upset. If more people started making demands and actually do something, there may be changes. If you are doing fab, kudos to you. Buy some My Buddy dolls.

Any eBay seller that stands up for the post office either has connections to it or is wanting to start )(*&. He got off REALLY easy with those light jokes. All I'm gonna say on that....

Unfortunately the misinformation that is being reported can be confusing.   I am not a Fan of the PO and I don't stand up for the Post Office.  I just look at the operation and how it has been horribly run for many many years.   Here is another Article to help you understand the PO's finances.  It has been going on for years and time after time congress just keeps kicking the can down the road, it won't be solved anytime soon, if ever.   Read the article below and the other articles posted  here so you can understand the problems the PO has.  All of the information about the USPS is unclassified for anyone to read.

Oh, bring it. I'm sure your fellow sellers, some of whom have worked for USPS for decades, will be happy to hear everything you've got.
