I apologise as I am from Australia but over there we are as confused as you seem to be here, but most of you seem to be a bit more caught up on things, so I hope you can help me understand.
Q1 - M.Payments - I have checked countless Chinese sellers and also Big Retailers who also sell on eBay and I am yet to find one who has been switched to MP - or am I looking in the wrong place ?
Q2. Over here you have at least some contact with eBay rep's by 'tagging' them >
tyler@ebay brian@ebay brittanie@ebay
In Australia we have nothing - zip, zilch, zero way of contacting (well CS, but they do more harm than good)
so I was wondering why Australians are not afforded the same courtesy?
No offense to any of the members here in the US, I am just wondering why we are left to fend for ourselves.

I cant speak for eBay, but my best guess as a business POV is where to put my resources at. I know there's lots of sellers in the US/China (especially with how low shipping rates are.) So I would assume there's lot of support there. As for MP, I think it's still slowly rolling out.

eBay announced in their last financial report (Q4 and full year for 2020) that China based sellers would be converted to Managed Payments in the 2nd half of 2021 (as I recall).
Seems the plan is to finish off with the US and Canada before tackling China. At the rate they are currently going they will mostly be done with North America by the end of June.
eBay reports Q1 results on the 28th, the presentation should contain more up to date information.

Thank you both, it is a question being asked constantly here, so appreciate the info to share.

slippinjimmy already answered your question regarding China-based sellers, but here's eBay's blog post on the subject:
eBay Will Begin Managing Payments for Sellers in Greater China
Regarding your second question, those Community Team members you tagged are here to respond to basic, general questions broached by posters on the discussion boards concerning clarification of eBay policies and procedures. They are not a substitute for Customer Service; for example, they cannot see individual members' accounts. They aren't here for specific, individual account issues/questions/problems.
While we definitely appreciate them and rely on their expertise concerning policy or procedure issues, they will generally refer posters who are experiencing individual account issues to Customer Service.
P.S. Too late for this time around, but it's probably not the greatest idea to tag them unless you actually have an issue for them to review. 🙂

I know, but there was never any doubt in my mind that they would 'Not' respond, because they have no answer for my question.
Sad, but true, the .au site is left right out of the loop, but luckily we are a resilient bunch LOL
