Weird. Yesterday I had 3999 feedbacks and told my wife" one more to go for 4000!" This morning I have 3997 feedbacks. Two less with no negs or nuetrals or complaints. What the heck?!

This happened to me once when ebay removed feedback from a person that they NARU'd due to fraud. They removed all feedback positive and negative.

They are right its ebay going through and removing positives that were left fraudulent accounts. Best regards

Because to remove ALL feedback is the click of one button.
To sort Positive/neutral/negative would be, I dunno, 3 or 4 clicks = work.
I just made that up so don't rely on it as the definitive answer.

Usually if a buyer is NARU'd within 90 days they remove all their FB left. Why? who knows.

In the past, they removed feedbacks of accounts that were removed for whatever reason.
Don't know if they still do that

This is the 2nd topic I've seen on this, other was someone who got neg. their f/b went down, they got a pos., but it didn't go back up - another positive was remived somewhere. When I saw that, I realized my own account, the feedback score seemed to have dropped by one about the same time (I don't obsess over it, but was sure I'd seen a higher number earlier).
So yes, something is going on. The do remove f/b from a NARU acct. that's new (I think it's 90 days, maybe something else). They also have said they remove harmful feedback in other circumstances (I don't remember the details, but they used to send out nifty little notices "We've protected your account...").
Or maybe they just broke something else. Hard to say.
