I have accidentally deleted all of the descriptions from my listings...help!

When adding a note to the top of my listings, I managed to delete all of the descriptions from every listing. Is there any way to get these descriptions back!!

Once you’ve revised a listing changing the description, I’m afraid you can’t reverse it.

Since it looks like you have 2-business day handling on your items, that note was really unnecessary.  In the future, don't mess with something that doesn't need messing with because you might.....well, now you know.

I know this is too late.

But it sounds like you list your item directly onto ebay? No hard copy involved?

Others might disagree, but we type all our info up in a word doc (or notepad). Edit it as needed. Then post as we go down the list. If we do what you did, we just have to go down the list again (copy/paste) instead of starting all over.

This also allows us to key word search our documents so we can locate ones that sell. This is important when listing hundreds, or thousands, of items - some of them a few years old.

That's they way I do it.

All the information goes on a Notepad in a folder with the images.

Have a great day.

If you're not going to ship for a week, you need to change your handling time.

Have a great day.

I was in a panic when I posted this. I did have many of my listings available because I "sell similiar" often. Most have already been recovered. This was due to me attempting to "edit" a message that I put before my regular text to explain a Thanksgiving update. When I saw there was an error, I replaced with the new wording. Little did I know it deleted EVERYTHING that followed. I've never done this before so....well, lesson learned. Thanks all.
