I have a local customer who wants to pick up the item how do I send the invoice with free shipping?

I sold/ will sell an item to a local customer who wants to pick it up.  How do I send the invoice without the shipping?  That is even if I get it before eBay makes them pay for it.

If he is going to pick it up, have him pay cash. No need for an invoice.

Make sure you change the listing to local pick up or add local pick up to the listing so you don't get a ding.

Thank you for your reply that is a good idea but eBay makes them pay at purchase. I don't know how to get them to understand that I want to send my own invoice especially with multiple items.
