I say, anyone who posts on here, has to have listings on ebay. You should not be allowed to post on here, unless you are and active buyer or seller, with feedback displayed. Other then that it moot! you could be colluding with someone.

Alex, what is a posting ID?

Are you aware of what a posting ID is? Most everyone here uses one, but has other IDs for buying and selling.
Posting IDs are used because sellers have had their selling IDs attacked by others who may have disagreed with the replies they left. Or by trolls whose only purpose is to raise havoc with the listings of other posters. It is dangerous to post with your selling ID.
All eBay employees who post here identify themselves as such. Other users who comment are generally here to be helpful, most all are honest. No one is here to hurt anyone and if they make an unseemly comment, they can be and are reported to the moderators, who are quick to sanction.
So there is no need to go the route you have suggested.

That is why we are rated and the top ones are listed to the right.
We have a lot of eyes on here. If someone posts something a bit off he is immediately challenged.
Colluders would be called out.

No? Say it isnt so? Maybe the posting under fake id's are the trolls? perhaps?

None of the IDs are fake. Sometimes there are trolls , but they are spotted quickly, called out, put in their places. and sometimes well-meaning poster post wrong information unintentionally, and are almost always corrected by someone more knowledgeable.
Just because someone disagrees with you, doesn't make them a troll.

Aside from the colluding, any other reason?
I think it's great that people join the discussion boards and share their ideas/inputs.
In fact, they should be encouraged not discouraged.
My 2 cents of course.

Or an ebay cheerleader or on their payroll.

How do you feel that you are being "trolled" grasshopper?
Has someone with a Posting ID disagreed with you?
(I use a posting ID because I acquired a nasty little stalker on my Store ID when I told them that they were in the wrong about something)

My business partner set up our store and used his phone number.
I found the boards and started posting from the selling id.
A week later he calls, Dude what the **** are you doing on ebay.
All the notices that I got a thumbs up or a mention, he got an email.
His phone was going off 24/7.
So that is why I use a posting ID.
Poor guy was getting no sleep.
I have hurt peoples feelings on here, I tend to be blunt and brutally honest.
And some will damage a sellers account, if the have a spat.
