to continue this topic yes I did find my items.
at a completely different address about 1/4 mile from my home
I immediately called overstock and got them to recharge my account ( which they had refunded me for in full)
no one stole the items from my porch , which I knew was not the case.
the fault lies with the UPS driver who showed delivery at my address.
not even close.
not in my bushes ( they were thrown behind a drop box at the office roughly 1/4 mile from my home)
the manager of the park called me last night to tell me he found the items.
I had asked the eBay seller to help me; I wonder if he would have if I would have been spared this trouble.

And that's been the problem, we the sellers are punished for the stupidity of a mail carrier.

What does "overstock" have to do with the delivery of an eBay sale?

OP had 3 parcels go missing together, supposedly delivered same day by UPS. 2 were from Overstock, one was from an ebay seller
I'm curious as to what the OP expected the eBay seller to do to help. Other than give the tracking number and description, I don't see how much help they could have been.

It was suggested in the previous thread (more than once, in fact) that you check with the site office to see if the packages had been delivered there. Did you do so?

I went into a UPS retail store and asked them what I should do to track a missing package.
they told me to get the shipper to file a claim.
and no, I did not blame the seller one bit ( not ONE SINGLE BIT) for the fact that the package showed delivery
when in fact it was delivered to the completely wrong address.
I blamed the seller for not helping me....
would it have worked?? I don't know. But on instruction from UPS I was told what to do and
I GOT NO-WHERE.

the site manager didn't even see them until yesterday evening.
for some reason they were tossed behind a drop box.

Just as I figured. I think far more packages are misdelivered than stolen.

I NEVER thought they were stolen
I do know my neighbors..same ones for 10 years
never had anything stolen before.

I assume the drop box is for outgoing mail, so they wouldn't be putting incoming packages in it. (If the box is for incoming packages, perhaps yours either didn't fit or were part of an overflow of incoming items.)
At least now you have a definite place to check in case your delivery doesn't show up. For that matter, packages might be more secure there anyway, as opposed to sitting out on your step and being exposed to the elements as well.

I know you didn’t but that was a constant comment from others. It may be.a huge problem in some neighborhoods but I think in general it’s more likely to be carrier error.

I know my neighbors too, none would steal from my porch. However I do *not* know everyone who drives or walks by my house.....those strangers are the ones likely to steal packages, not your neighbors.
And everyone who is a victim for the first time says "But it's never happened before!!" Never forget, it can happen to anyone, at any time.
I'm glad you found your packages, I think you got lucky this time. It's situations like this that remind me why I have a pit bull in the yard and a security camera system.

I live towards the very back of the park--actually about 6 homes from the edge of the pinelands....
I recognize almost every car that drives by---no one comes back this far generally unless they live here.
in any case this was mishandling via UPS and I don't know how to prevent it from happening again.
