Greetings.

Well, I closed my eBay shop back on the 20th. I let people know way in advance that I was doing this because I had ALOT of watchers on the remaining items. So the day came and went, closed the shop, and I went about my business. Wouldn't you know it, I received several messages inquiring if I still had sed items available. 

Got to love eBay.

You're reminding me of that one guy I had last week... I took each military item down, one by one, a total of 450 items. About 5 minutes after one item came down, I get a buyer message asking me if I still have the item. I explained I was reorganizing and regrouping, and if he wants the item I will relist it for him. He told me it was in his shopping cart and he wanted it because it's the same medal his dad got in the army. That was a week ago, and he still hasn't bought it...

I've had this happen more than a few times (I used to close my store every year as I was seasonal).  I also sometimes just take things down and then, voila, someone writes and asks if it's still available.  I'll relist it for them - oftentimes they buy, sometimes they don't.  I never notify anyone if I pull things or close my store for a while, though sometimes I have a big clearout and announce that I'm closing for a while.  It's not unusual to have someone ask, though.
