eBay has restricted from selling in a specific category about 2 years ago. I don't really remember what the issue was, the covid just started and lots of packages were delayed, buyers were opening cases etc (every single package was delivered though).
I've been selling on eBay since 2013 and tried to provide the best service I can, I ship orders on time and never scam anyone. Yesterday I again contacted customer service and that's what they replied: "Our team is constantly reviewing your account, as soon as its eligible for this category, we will let you know about it."
I believe that nothing will change no matter how long I wait.
Has anyone ever experienced the same problem? Is there a solution? Please advise 🙏🏻

Try reaching out to the ebay customer service agents on the ebay for business Facebook page. Make sure you ask to chat with a live agent. Hopefully, they can shed some light on the porblem for you.
Good luck!

Out of curiosity, what is the category? I've never heard of "constantly reviewing" any account for selling eligibility.

I see you have medical grade cosmetics listed in the “Everything Else” category (which isn’t allowed), is it a similar item you’re having difficulty with?

I'm seeing violations. No reason someone with violations in their listings would be allowed to list in other categories.

I'm seeing a feedback history with quite a few INR, slow shipping and NAD complaints.

You have links where you should not links.
You are listing in incorrect categories.
You are listing many multiples of the same item over and over which is not allowed
you are listing something implying what it is for, when it may not be, or it may not be safe. yet you are in a country (which you neglect to point out) where any kind of fix is impossible.

Once you correct the problems other posters have pointed out, you can reach actual eBay employees at:

It would not be a good idea to contact them before you have corrected the obvious problems. These staffers have much more authority than you might suppose.
The social media staffers also provide a transcript of your discussion which you can review to see that what you were told is what you thought you were told.
