I am recieving too many offers from new"zero feedback accounts" everyday.

For a few weeks I started to recieve too many offers from new accounts with 0 feedback, created day or two before.

I sell vintage clothes and it's very common that buyers send offers for them, because prices are often negotiable. Sometimes buyers don't pay. But for last two weeks, every day or two, sometimes few times a day I recieve thes offers that I would usually accept, but most of them from new accounts.

It usually ends up that they don't pay and I relist the listing in 4 days.

What kind of scam is this, and why it became so frequent?

Maybe competition that makes you listings disappear for a while?

When I get offers from 'iffy' accounts I just update the Buy It Now price to their offer amount (with Immediate Payment Required) then tell them to go ahead and make the purchase.  So far no problem. Once another buyer swooped in and got it for the lowered price!

My experience with best offers even with prospective buyers with feedback has been about the same.  Just trolling to be annoying and they don't pay.  I would just leave the price as is and not even give a best offer.  You have a really nice shop.  I'm sure there are credible buyers out there who will see your listings and want to purchase.

Agree! I thought that it might be competitors, but it seems like too much of a hustle to do it. That's why for me it looks like these accounts are automatically generated. Just to spam sellers in same categories.
