I Can't Promote Scheduled Auction Listings

I add "Promote Listing" while setting up my auction, it shows me the Fee for the Promotion. I set up a "Scheduled" time to start the promotion and then the "Promote Listing" disappears and "List it for Free" or a 35 cents fee for listing in two categories pops up. Tried to revise the scheduled listing to add the promotion, but it does not populate in the form. Are Scheduled Auctions Not Eligible for Promoted Listings? There was a similar questions asked in October 2022 in the forum, but no one answered it. Thanks for any insight.

I think that is correct, Scheduled Auctions are not eligible for Promoted Listings. 

I rarely run auctions but a few months back I tried to schedule one so it would launch 7 days before I returned from a trip, but I ran into the same problem you did.

I do auctions occasionally.  Such a listing cannot be promoted until it is live.

PL Standard is only available for Fixed Price listings, for Auctions you can use PL Express.
