I want to edit my listings so they will look good.Once there was a software-Octavia-something like that for free but now it's not free anymore.Do you know and can recommend another free for commercial purposes software for eBay listings? I tried to write some HTML code by myself but it looks like a mess.

Can you recommend me a free tool or software -but it must be really free - I don't want to be sued.

Try KompoZer

Freeware with simple html wysiwyg (what you see is what you get) program.  You can drop the html view version into the ebay sell form.  If you use an outside source to host your pics, you can include them as well and save for later use.
