How to tell how long an item has been in your eBay store

Hello,

I have seen many questions as to how you can figure out when you listed an item in your store. Here is the easiest way that I have found:

1. In the new Seller Hub, Navigate to Reports:

2. Next, click on Downloads:

3. Now, click on Download Report. A small window will open up:

4. Click on Source, then listings

5. Next, click Type and then All Active Listings:

6. At the bottom, click Download. It will spin for a bit, and then you will see your Excel file at the bottom of your browser. Click it.

7. Once the spreadsheet opens, simply scroll to the column called Start Date. In my spreadsheets, it is always column P. This is the date you actually added it to the store, not the most recent relist date. Use this to decide if a listing has been up there too long, and maybe it is time to remove it to free up space and avoid it using up your monthly listings. You can also check the Buy It Now price in column I. If it is higher than .99, maybe it is time to lower the price!

Hope this helps!

Here's a much faster way @jebol_1323. Go to your active listings page. Use the customize table link on the upper right and add the start date column to your view.
