Hi there,
My name is Claire and I am a seller on eBay. I am going away to university in a few days, and will not be able to sell on eBay until Christmas break in December. So, I will have to end all of my listings. However, I want to save these listings so I can resist them again in December when I am back home. However, won't eBay delete your ended listings after a certain amount of time? How can I end these listings and make sure that they will save for the next couple of months? Thanks in advance!
Claire

Once you end the listings they will be stored as UNSOLD for about 90 days (listing and pictures). After that they will be deleted.
The way to save them is to COPY from your active listing description and PASTE on document to save on your PC. Same for pictures if they are not already saved on your PC.

I forgot to mention that you will have to launch all as new listings again in December.

I'm going to assume you'll have access to a computer/internet even if you're away at college.
Once they end, just schedule your relistings for more than a month away and then once a month go in and reschedule them for another month further out until you're ready to actually send them live again.

For added backup, or as a primary means to store then, if you're familiar with Turbo Lister you can import them from the app and when you're ready to relist just export them back to eBay.

Forgot to mention you could also keep them in Ended Listings as someone suggested, and if not ready to relist by 90 days, you could save them as drafts for an additional 45 days. You should also keep a backup of all your photos off eBay cause they may disappear after 90 days regardless.

You don't have to end the listings.
Go to your Site Preferences and activate the "Out of stock" option. Then go to the listings and change the available quantity to zero. They will remain as active but hidden from potential buyers until you go back and change the quantity again.

@rockusone, sorry, but TurboLister has been discontinued for several years. I don't know if it still works for users who downloaded it before it was discontinued or not, but downloads are no longer available.

eBay removes old listings after 90 days. You can see them in the Seller Hub for up to 60 days, and after that you can open them by using the item number to replace the # at the end of this url: ebay.com/itm/#
As suggested, if 90 days is not enough time, you can schedule relists for 30 days out, and then keep pushing the scheduled date back for the next few months. I don't know if there is a limit for how long you can do this.
The other option would be to use the Out of Stock option, and set the quantity available to zero when you want to pause the listing. This is will remove the listing from visibility, while the quantity is zero. It will relist for up to 3 bililng periods with quantity zero before the listing is ended automatically. For any billing period when the quantity is zero for the full billing period, you will not be charged a listing fee (if applicable).

Than it must still work for those who already have it. But new users can't get it anymore.

I should note, I don't recommend it for everyday use, but for situations like the op's, it could help... (if you're familiar with the application).
