How to price coins?

Research.

Enter the date and coin name and search ebay if you want to find comparable coins and prices, if any.

Search the internet for that date coin for information/values.

Start by searching ebay and see if there are any for sale and what they go for. Also click the sold items box on the left side of the search page. See if any have sold and for what. Then do an internet, Google, Yahoo search. that will give you some idea of prices. Condition if everything.

Type Jamaica coins, then search;

then open "Year" then "see all" on the left-side menu and it will show filters for dates and how many coins listed of any date.

For example,  apply filter date 1945 and you get

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_dcat=162174&_fsrp=1&_sacat=11116&_nkw=jamaica+coins&_from=R40&rt=nc...

And use Google Images too.

They often have useful articles attached.

I put in “antique Jamaica coin” and came up with a number of listings here on eBay. There are also a whole bunch on Etsy. Have you done any research on the internet?

I use Google when I can't figure a value on an item.

Using EBAY search is certainly the most Important way to determine value.   As another poster mentioned,   Search sold listings for true value.    Too many sellers see a comparable item for sale at $100.00 but ignore the fact that the item sells on a regular basis for $5.00

The most important number is the low one,  not the high one.
