How to list by specific category instead of generic "tell us what you're selling"??

I have, along with thousands of others, vented my frustration with the new selling page format, and put in my 2 cents' worth about reviving Classic View.  Not holding my breath on that...

**However, another "new" feature seems to be that you can't sell by specific category any more.  When I click on the Sell tab, I get a generic box that says "tell us what you're selling", which then directs me to more generic subcategories, etc.  So even though I know what categories to sell an item in, I can't go there directly -- unless this is hidden on another screen?  Oddly, if I open a current or unsold listing and click on "sell similar", I'm able to navigate easily to the categories I want!  Does anyone know if it's still possible to pick your own categories without going through all the extra steps?  Please help!

I created a bunch of templates.  You can also just go into your existing listings and do a 'sell similar.'  I created the templates because looking for a sell similar took too long and that generic "tell us what you're selling" is, as you've found, too generic.  Templates save a lot of time and you can just have them set up for the categories you sell in.  You can maintain 50 templates and edit them as you like.
