How to find someone to list items for me

Now that Trading Assistant and Valet are no longing functioning, what's the best way to find someone to list items for me on eBay? Thanks.

Hi db, I'm looking for someone to do everything. I would ship or deliver my items and the other person would handle everything that needs to be done. 

.    That would probably the tougher individual to find given as others mentioned the taxes and risk the individual would be assuming. If you manage to find someone to take this on their asking percentage is liable to be high, which is understandable. You may be better off finding a consignment auction house or an estate sale company to handle the sales the percentages are going to be about the same.

I couldn't figure out a way to edit. When I said "I would ship or deliver my items and the other person would handle everything that needs to be done.", I meant I would ship or deliver my entire inventory to the person I hire to do all aspects of eBay selling, including shipping the item(s) to the buyer.

There are lots of reasons why you will have a hard time finding what you seek, not the least of which is that a buyer has 6 months to pursue a refund as well as the fact that the sales will have to be accounted for on someone's Federal income taxes-- yours? the person who lists for you?

If you are wanting them to essentially warehouse the stuff for you to, then unfortunately the $15 an hour I mentioned is not going to cut it. 

You have to remember that a LOT of items on eBay remain unsold for months and months. Those have to be stored somewhere, cataloged (so they can be found when they DO sell) kept secure and protected from damage. Who is liable in case of theft/fire/flood etc? You're also taking up real estate they are paying for 24/7.  Rent is not cheap.  

Depending on your tax situation and the individual value of the items, it really may be better for you to just donate the items. 

Consignment stores are also an option depending on the item. I believe they typically take 40-50 percent, but that's actually better than that what you would be left with after paying eBay their cut and then splitting the proceeds with someone. 

Even a Pawn shop may give you 25-30 percent of what they would sell it for.

What type of items are we talking about?
