How to create a coupon code

Hi, I am interested in creating a specific coupon code that I send to my customer list that can be used for a discount on certain products that I sell on eBay. Does anyone know how to do this?  Everything I can find seems to be to create a discount that anyone searching on eBay can use...

You cannot use coupon codes on eBay. This has been a gripe for years on eBay. And once again, eBay doesnt care.

@naturallydriven you can create a codeless coupon, which achieves the same purpose as a coupon code. Codeless coupons allow a seller to create a discount that is only visible to buyers with a special discount URL. After the codeless coupon is created, the seller will be give the discount URL. They can then give that URL to specific buyers, who can use it to receive the discount.

Quick question about couponless codes...  Seems like the seller has to send out the code to potential customers, no?

Yes, you must let the customer know the URL for the promotion. One thing to keep in mind: Once the customer has the code, he can post it to his Facebook page (or wherever) and anyone else seeing it can use it (until it expires, of course).
