How to close a buyer’s Request

Buyer recently open a Buyer didn’t receive item case. After back and forth message with buyer the issue has been resolved and package was with the neighbor. How do I close the case or would the buyer need to close it at their end? It doesn’t give me an option to close only 3 options of: Update Tracking, Send Refund or Message Buyer. Any advice or tips are greatly appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

How to close a buyer’s Request

Options.....

- The buyer can close it

- You can waste a lot of time calling eBay and getting them to close it

- You can do NOTHING and exactly 21 Business days (to the minute) after the INR request was opened eBay will close it for "lack of activity".

I  very rarely get INR requests/claims but I had one recently and watched it to make sure the process was still the same. Like your claim, the INR Request was opened because the shipment was very late, a little reassurance and the buyer waited, a few days later the delivery happened and the buyer is happy. I watched the request to see what would happen and as expected 21 business days later it close on it's own.

Fop ahead and update the tracking. THEN if you send a note to CS detailing the case number and the buyers name along with the information you have stated you can get it closed with no refund. I do it all the time when the buyer and I gave come to a resolution. eBay can check the messages back and forth to verify what you say.
