Hi everyone,
Haven't sold anything on ebay in over a year, and I come back and seems that everything has changed.
HOW ON EARTH DO YOU CHANGE THE DURATION OF YOUR AUCTION?
The selling page comes up, and it keeps saying my listing will be for 7 days. I see no place to change it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers.

If you are using the Quick Listing form, change to the Advanced listing form. While it is a bit longer, you get to see all your options instead of having Ebay make some choices for you on the Quick form.
Take a look at the pic below. This section of the listing form is just under the description area. You have the drop down box where you can set it as an Auction or a Fixed Price listing. If you select Auction, then the next box is for duration and it has a drop down menu as well. You can select the duration you want from the list.

The Advanced Tool is also called Business tool & you can switch if you would like by looking in the upper right hand corner & clicking
But on the Quick listing form you can change it as well
eBay throws in the crazy low starting price as well as 7 day auction
There is a Change button on the right side, click that
Then this section comes up , click more options & the duration is there

Thank you. You are correct of course. I should have been clearer in my previous post. I didn't mean that you can't change it in the QLT. But the QLT does not include all the fields that ALF includes and in the QLT you get opt'd into certain things you may or may not want as a seller. The ALF gives you full control over how your listing is created the QLT does not.
