How to appeal delisted items

Hi,

Can someone please tell me how to appeal delisted items or even just how to speak with a person?

eBay delisted a few items that are still allowed to be sold and are listed in the law as exclusions by the Department of Energy.

The email I received started -We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our Electronic equipment policy. 

 Light bulbs for the home that do not meet energy efficiency standards defined by the Department of Energy, including incandescent and halogen light bulbs.

I can't tell you how to speak with a person, but can warn you that if items are pulled... eBay means it. Good luck.

eBay’s policy doesn’t match the law. If they say don’t list it, you’ll need to find another venue to sell them.

Get ahold of ebay and tell them you would like to appeal their decision.

Facebook is in my opinion the best/easiest way to get ahold of ebay.

The phone reps have a terrible reputation for getting you off the phone as soon as possible even if that means giving you the advice you want to hear instead of the advice you need to have.

The social media Chat accounts are covered by trained eBay employees with some authority.
And you get a transcript so you can compare what you heard with what you were told.

But generally, eBay's restrictions and federal regulations are a Venn diagram, not a circle.

I would not waste time trying to get permission or an explanation from eBay. 

Whatever you do, don't keep listing them if you expect to continue to sell on eBay.
