Is there a way to appeal an account suspension? I have called eBay twice in two days, neither person I spoke to was helpful.
My account was suspended because eBay believed I was selling a part for an "assault weapon". The item in question is an aftermarket trigger for a Remington 700 and its clones. Ebay's weapons policy expressly allows trigger assemblies and the Remington 700 (and clones) is not considered an "assault weapon" by ANYONE's definition. I've explained this to both customer services reps I spoke with, neither seem to understand. The first told me it was because I mentioned in the listing disassembling the trigger for cleaning, the other said it was banned because it is against eBay policy to list gun parts, which is completely untrue. The email I received with the suspension notice actually lists "trigger assemblies" as one of the ALLOWED gun parts.
I want my account reactivated BUT I also don't want the mark against my account. Any help is appreciated.

should have left out the clones...
leaves it open to any interpretation and that is most likly what got you in this mess.
Is it a permanent ban or a time off:

If your account has been "temporary suspended" you just have wait for suspension to lapse. However, if you relist the "items in question" most likely your account will be permanently terminated.
If you account gets terminated...this is permanent and last a lifetime. No appeal and no reason given for termination.
