How to answer a potential bidder so that the answer appears in the auction?

Hi,

I have an auction, and someone asked me a question which probably others may ask, so I was wondering how I can make the Q&A visible in the auction?

I saw information that said that when I respond to the user, there was some place to check to make it visible, but I don't see that.

It has been a while, but as I recall there's a small box at the bottom of the message window that you can check to make the question and answer visible at the bottom of the listing upon sending the message.

Hi,

I still couldn't find a checkbox for adding the Q&A to my auction, so instead, I did a "revise" and added both the question and the answer. 

I had been hesitant to do that, lest it change the auction ending date/time, but it looks like it kept date /time the same.

I saw this option about two weeks ago when I answered a question - I remembered because I hesitated whether to add the question or not due to not being able to redact a little personal information in the question itself. 

So after reading your message I just checked one of my questions on a still-live item and you are right - the option is gone!  Sorry about the misinformation, but I had literally seen it only two weeks ago.  ☹️

Revising an auction/FP listing won't change the date or time of the listings ending, though, so you're good there.
